Dr. Terrence M. Cole, Ph.D., is a public policy and public health strategist, educator, and cross-sector leader with more than 25 years of experience advancing equity-driven systems change. His work spans public health, behavioral health, education, workforce development, and justice reform, where he has led initiatives that bridge policy, practice, and community impact. Dr. Cole holds a Ph.D. in Social and Behavioral Sciences with dual specialization in Public Policy and Public Administration and is a Certified Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (CCAPP). He applies a social determinants of health framework to design and implement programs that address structural inequities and improve outcomes for underserved communities. In addition to his leadership work, Dr. Cole serves as Associate Faculty in Lifelong Learning, where he brings a practical, real-world perspective to adult education, fostering critical thinking, engagement, and lifelong intellectual growth.
