Being a health care provider, a registered and licensed dietitian, I have seen the word health care defined in numerous ways over the years. With over a decade of experience within health care, my view of the health care industry is radically different. I appreciate and share with patients, that health and wellness is a moment-to-moment choice and not about stringent approaches to our daily lives. And Leadership, like health is for everyone, every day. It’s how we should live our life.

I am sometimes referred to as a “provocateur” for my ability to stir up a group with quality or patient safety concerns or as the “problem solver” for my skilled eye that brings out the best in our system wide policies and procedures. My fusion of real-life experiences mixed with best practices and conversational techniques help put my thoughts into clinical practice with administrative buy-in and have become a newly developed management strength which is driving me through my management growth.

I have served as a Health Care Manager and Lead Dietitian at Healdsburg District Hospital for the last several years. I am a board certified specialist in gerontological nutrition and continue to work with the best and brightest in the nutrition field. I serve on many organizational committees including the Quality Council, Patient Safety among many others with quality focus.

Prior to my current management role, I have been a dietitian at many of the country’s largest teaching hospitals located in Houston, Texas and within the California Bay Area. I have tube fed everyone from Senators to serial killers and NFL athletes. In my free time, I love to explore outdoors with child, a German shepherd named Guinness.
