MFA in Writing, University of San Francisco,
BA in Humanities, Dominican University, San Rafael, CA.
I'm a writer, editor, instructor, and media maker. I've been an Adjunct Instructor for Santa Rosa Junior College's Older Adults Program since 2017. My classes are lively and fun, with an emphasis on positive interactions, learning writing craft, and generating new work.
Recent projects include: coaching and editing for a memoir writer, websites for Chlele Gummer and Poetic License Sonoma, audio editing for C.C. Hart’s Weird Sister podcast, video editing for Tango Mercurio, and book layout for a children’s picture book and a book of poetry.
In addition to writing, teaching, and providing editing services, I’ve produced marketing materials for corporate, non-profit and individual clients, and written radio and web stories. I’ve also created videos, edited photos; set up WordPress/blogs and created social media campaigns.
I was a Video Editor and Production Manager, at Bravura Films, San Francisco for 15 years, before my husband and I moved to the country and painted our mailbox blue. Bravura Films specialized in corporate marketing videos. I edited video using Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Photoshop; assisted with pre-production planning and scripting; hired crew and talent; tracked budgets and paperwork and supervised post-production. Clients included San Francisco Ballet, Apple Computer, Cisco Systems and Microsoft Corp.
