This course will meet in person once a week, at the time and location listed. There will be additional course content delivered asynchronously online. All students are welcome to enroll in this class; and this section will have extra support from the Lanzamientoinitiative.

Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. Migrated to the U.S. at age 15 due to economic reasons. This by default made me an economic refugee. Have lived in Sonoma County most of my adult life. Have great interest in the causes for migration with specific focus on Indigenous individuals.
