I have taught at various institutions from Yale, Princeton, Tulane and the Yale School of Medicine. 

Work and Consulting Experience

Along with my teaching experiences at Yale, Princeton and Tulane, I have served as a consultant for the US Naval Service in Lima, Peru and the Duke University School of Medicine Summer Medical Education Program.

Postcolonial theory and literature

20th Century US history 

US occupation of the Philippines

Cultural history of health and medicine especially in colonial territories

I have presented at various academic conferences including the American Studies Association, the Association for Asian American Studies and the American Historical Association.
