Melinda Misuraca is a writer, editor, and educator who brings an innovative, multi-dimensional approach to her classes, grounded in her infectious love for the literary craft. Her published work spans multiple genres and can be found in Salon, High Times, Traveler's Tales, the Best Travel Writing series, Craftsmanship, Hidden Compass, The Bohemian, Natural Bridge, Adirondack Review, Portland Review, and elsewhere.
Melinda's teaching philosophy centers on a hybrid approach combining the close reading of exceptional literary works, in-class and at-home writing practice, the study of literary craft, and a supportive workshop environment designed to encourage the development of authentic writer's voice and inspire creative risk taking.
