Mary Stompe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) with more than 35 years of experience in accounting, finance, executive leadership, and higher education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Sonoma State University. Before joining Santa Rosa Junior College, Mary served for 19 years as Executive Director of PEP Housing, where she led the financial operations of a multi-million-dollar nonprofit organization. She has also taught finance at the university level and enjoys helping students understand accounting concepts by connecting classroom learning to real-world business applications.
