ESL College Composition -- : Aug 16 - Dec 10 2021
This class will meet on the Santa Rosa Campus in Barnett 1265 during the days/time(s) listed above. There will also be independent (online) work. Your instructor will provide more details. All students are welcome to enroll in this class and this section will have extra support for the Lanzamiento initiative, designed to support academic achievement among Latinx and first-generation college students. Students who enroll in Lanzamiento sections have dedicated resources available to them, including: academic counseling, peer tutoring and success coaching, library support, mental health services, financial aid workshops, and opportunities to learn about transferring to a four-year university. Themes of bilingualism, transnational experiences, immigrant communities, Latinx authorship, academic scholarship, and activism are relevant to the Lanzamiento initiative. Section 3055 of ESL770
Supplemental Instruction: ESL -- : Aug 16 - Dec 10 2021
ALL ESL 781 and credit ESL students should be automatically enrolled in section 3055 to have access to the ESL Tutoring and Learning Center. You can also enroll yourself through your SRJC student portal. If you need help enrolling, call the ESL Department (707) 527-4382.
