Kate is an accomplished marketing, communications, and operations leader, specializing in launching and evolving brands and products within B2B and B2C tech and healthcare environments. Her expertise lies in driving product-market fit through Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) development, strategic naming, and impactful positioning strategies. Throughout her career, she's successfully cultivated high-value leads, enhanced customer retention, and built agile marketing frameworks to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced growth settings.
Currently serving as Founder and fractional CMO at The Brand Incubator, Kate leads go-to-market efforts for early-stage B2B startups across technology, healthcare, and social impact. She works closely with startups to define their unique brand identities and create compelling traction narratives that resonate with their target audiences and investors. Her approach integrates comprehensive market research and agile marketing strategies to ensure brands achieve impactful market entry and sustained growth.
Kate's tenure as Vice President of Marketing & Operations at Nuvolum involved spearheading strategic brand and integrated marketing initiatives across B2B, B2C, and DTC products and clients. She directed comprehensive brand and creative leadership initiatives for a diverse portfolio, integrating digital marketing strategies to amplify brand presence and engagement. Previously, as an Innovation Consultant at Hewlett Packard, hse positioned 3D Metal Printing technology, mixing go-to-market strategy with design thinking principles.
Kate's educational background includes an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business with postgraduate studies in Venture Capital and studies in Global Leadership at Oxford University. She's actively involved in mentoring early-stage startups through programs like Alchemist Accelerator and works with the GTM Society to connect senior GTM leaders and executives in tech in the San Francisco Bay Area.
