As the Program Coordinator for the Natural Resources Program, Kasey Wade develops curriculum, hires adjunct and teaches courses for the three certificates/majors offered to students. These certificates include: Parks and Recreation, Watershed and Forest Management. Kasey brings her own background as a Park Ranger and other professionals from various disciplines into the classroom as instructors and guests to give students the most current and up to date instruction. Curriculum is designed in partnership with her Advisory Committee members guaranteeing instruction that mimics the current needs of industry. Kasey began teaching as an adjunct instructor in 1995 while working as a Park Ranger for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Sonoma. She ended that 20 year career in 2000 to begin teaching fulltime for the college.

Professional Involvement and Community Service: 

Kasey is a Board Member of the Friends of Lake Sonoma, the Sonoma County Forest Working Group and the Pepperwood Education Committee. She serves on hiring committees for the Sonoma County Regional Parks and on the committee for the SANDS scholarship.
