I have been teaching Math and Science for over 30 years and love it !!

Prehistory: I was born in Indianapolis Indiana ( Home of the Indy 500 ). We moved to Arcadia, California and I graduated from Arcadia High in 1977 ( do the math !!). I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, met my architect major husband Ted and we settled in Healdsburg. I worked at the Geysers Geothermal plant for a few years, got my masters in Biology and teaching credential at Sonoma State and went to work at Piner High. Along came two great girls and life got busy !! Then about 9 years ago I started working here as an evening adjunct instructor and have really enjoyed the different challenges and rewards in teaching older students. Spare time activities include goofing around with the kids, gardening, working out (racquetball, yoga and running), working on becoming computer literate in developing online classes and learning just enough HTML to get into trouble !!  I look forward to meeting you and being part of your math adventure!
