I am a northern California native, born and raised in Crescent City, CA. I like to be active outdoors with my wife and two Labradors, Nessie and Brodie. I also enjoy hiking, surfing and mountain biking. Also living in the beer haven that the Sonoma Valley is, it seems fitting that I am also a homebrewer.
Work and Consulting Experience:
When I graduated in 2012 I started my first job in the construction management industry. I have worked on a variety of public and private projects within construction. Most notably and possibly my favorite, the Transbay Transit Terminal in downtown San Francisco. I was the engineer responsible for the layout and construction of first, second and third lift foundation walls. I worked with construction crews, private inspectors and my company's manager, Turner Construction, to deliver project elements in a properly constructed and on-time fashion. Outside of the Transbay Terminal, I have been involved in the design and overseen the construction of water purification infrastructure for Intel Corporation and E & J Gallo Winery and many other small projects.
Since 2015 I have been with the City of Santa Rosa's materials laboratory performing quality assurance/quality control testing for ongoing public works projects within the city. In January 2017 I moved to a design team within the city and am currently working towards obtaining my professional engineers license.
