I was born in Sacramento, California and attended schools as a child in California, Texas and Mexico. I come from a large family - two sisters and three brothers. I attended colleges in San Diego (1983-1988) earning a bachelor's and master's degree in business, while working for Price/Costco. I married my best friend on October 14, 1989 and we have two adorable girls, Taylor and Shelby. I began my teaching career in August 1988 in Sacramento California and taught for many colleges as an adjunct instructor until earning a full-time position at Santa Rosa Junior College in 1996! Shortly after moving to Santa Rosa, we built our dream home on 24 acres near Calistoga and hope to plant grapes someday. My hobbies include; martial arts (currently a 1st degree black belt and training for my 2nd degree), tennis, reading, traveling, selling diamonds and spending time with my family!
Welcome back to school!
