Bio

I received a B.A. in history from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.A. and C.Phil in philosophy from the University of California, Davis. I have taught at Santa Rosa Junior College since 1970. My normal teaching assignment includes all the basic philosophy courses taught at SRJC. I am especially interested in how philosophical ideas are applied in the world, and thus have a special interest in contemporary moral issues, political philosophy, critical thinking, and comparative religion.
