A native of San Francisco, Eric has held management roles related to human resources, education, training, and organizational development for 20 years, primarily in the US, Europe and SE Asia/Australia.
Multinational organizations with whom he has engaged in program management, HR/organizational development and training projects include, Mandarin Hotels and Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels, Pacific Hospitality Group, InterContinental Hotels Group, Crystal Cruises. Internationally, Eric has held management positions with the Ford Foundation, US Fulbright Program, Southern Cross Cultural Exchange, Swiss-based Village Camps and World Learning.
In SE & NE Asia, Australia, Europe, and Mexico, Eric was called to advise on the globalization of work environments, organizing and developing work programs, and best practices related to providing relevant training and learning opportunities. Through effective executive level management coaching and organizational team development practices, Eric has assisted leaders and organizations to increase the efficiency of talent management and development processes in addition to improving employee retention associated with strong organization and employee relationship management.
Eric has consulted with organizations to serve business owners and managers toward building strong functional organizations through human resource functions, such as ideal recruitment, training, performance evaluations, meeting management, incentive programs, and goal-setting. Additionally, he has developed and coached professional development programs to diverse levels of staff as well as facilitated learning events focused on building strong customer relations, operations skills development (SOPs), and best practices needed to generate viable business leads for sales employees. Eric has worked alongside startup organizations and offices guiding them through initial staff orientations and management development for diverse teams.
Having traveled and lived in 40 countries, Eric remains committed to the development of people through effective and sustainable human resources practices, organizational dynamics and cross-cultural educational program development.
Education includes, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Design (SF State University), Master Degree in Education Management with a concentration in Organizational Development (Brunel University/UK), and further study Organizational Development Education Management (Columbia University), and Education Finance (UC Berkeley).
