B.A. Speech and Hearing Sciences, University of California, Santa Barbara, CA
M.A. Language Teaching: Teaching English as a Second Language, School for International Training, Brattleboro, VT

Born in Taiwan, I grew up in the S.F. Bay area (East Bay). In the course of my education, I've had the privilege of attending five different colleges or universities--three in California, one in Washington state, and one in Vermont. Some may say that I like going to school. After going to school so long, I found my way into teaching ESL. From 1991 to 2003, I taught ESL to adult learners at Lewis Adult Education Center in Santa Rosa. Now, I am an Adjunct instructor in the ESL department. I enjoy meeting new people from different parts of the world, and I appreciate the many connections teachers and students can make through the college.

I live in Santa Rosa with my husband, Brian, and our daughter Iris. In addition to teaching, I am an active member at my church (See links tab). When I have free time, I enjoy swimming, walking out dog, watching videos, visiting friends and studying the Bible. As the parent of a gradeschooler, I spend my non-teaching hours caring for my family and one dog, volunteering at my daughter's school, and looking to humbly serve my Lord!
