I have been teaching at Santa Rosa Junior College since 1984. I earned my Bachelors degree in Communications from Sonoma State University and a Masters in Education with an emphasis in online teaching and learning from California State University at Hayward. I currently wear many hats and do many things that earn me a living. Aside from teaching at the college I serve as the General Manager for Falck Northern California/verihealth Ambulance Service.
When I am not in the classroom or at Falck, I spend much of my time writing EMS textbooks. I am married with two kids. When time allows I love to sail the SF Bay in my 27' Catalina sailboat.
I have a passion for teaching and learning and have a strong desire to share with others new and innovative ways we can use technology and the Internet to improve the learning process. I hope that you will enjoy weaving a little bit of technology into our curriculum as well! Please feel free to email me at the address above anytime you have questions or comments about this program.
Chris serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of EMS Educators.
