My two sections of English 1A are Transfer Track classes and they will not meet until February 1st Monday and February 2nd, Tuesday. These sections also end early. English 100 will meet on January 19th, Tuesday. Students who do not attend the first class meeting will be dropped.
New Tutorial Hours in Petaluma!
The Tutorial Center on the Petaluma campus (rm 247) offers writing assistance. Tana is available: Mondays & Wednesdays 9-12, and Mondays 3-5:30. Though she's tutoring math, she's in the Tutorial and may be able to take students during her open hours as well: Mondays 2-3, Wednesdays 12-4:30, and Thursdays 9-5:30. She welcomes you to drop in any of these times!
The English Department's Writing Center in room 690 is also a good place to get advice about your essays. Come prepared with questions for the instructors for either location. Also, have printed out the extra credit sheet so you can receive 20 points for your first visit before midterm or your second visit after midterms and before finals. The hours for the Writing Center and the extra credit sheet is available on the Schedule Page for your class.
