Alexis has a deep background in public safety across multiple disciplines. She started her rescue career as an ocean lifeguard in 1997 at Huntington State Beach in southern California. Alexis earned her EMT license in 2002 and worked as an EMT in Los Angeles. Following that, Alexis worked as a ski patroller at Mammoth Mountain, learning avalanche control techniques and search and rescue in winter environments. Alexis now works in Law Enforcement in Sonoma County, a position she has held since 2007.
