This section involves regularly scheduled, MANDATORY live zoom meetings at the times listed above. To participate in this class, students must have a computer with reliable internet, webcam, and microphone. Cell phones and tablets won’t suffice. Students may be required to pick up laboratory supplies from campus. For those unable to pick up in-person, a list of required items will be provided by the instructor.

SRJC Biology Club  Our goal is to create support & networks between instructors, the community, and current & former SRJC students. We also seek to xpose members to the diversity of biological fields through speakers, internships, and job opportunities to aid in actively pursuing their goals. 

Bear Talks: these are panel interviews with SRJC Alumni focused on particular topics such as applying for medical school or diversity of biology careers. 

LinkedIn : Look for the SRJC Biology Alumni Group: I will post information about internships, jobs and networking opportunities. 

Internships 

The Biology Department is very interested in supporting students in their career development. For that reason, we encourage students to pursue internships.
