I started working in the Distance Education department as a Web designer in the fall of 2000. In 2009, my work in Distance Education changed to entail accessibility compliance reviews of online class materials

I have a Fine Arts background, earning a B.A. in Fine Arts from Washington State University in 1980. I moved to San Francisco in 1982 where I worked as a graphic artist and continued to work as an artist. In 1996, I moved to Sonoma County. After dropping in to the JC to take courses in Photoshop and Web design, I started teaching Photoshop and Web design courses in the CS Department in Spring of 2001. In Spring 2015, I left teaching to work full time as an Assistive Technology Specialist.
